New role, same heart for conservation

I'm excited to share that I've recently stepped into the role of Development Director at Palouse Land Trust. Since joining the team as Operations Manager, I've loved being part of PLT's work, but I've been hoping to return to development for several years now. Connecting with people is what energizes me most, and this role feels like coming home in more ways than one. I bring fundraising and development experience from my time at the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources, along with years of outreach and stakeholder engagement across the nonprofit, healthcare, and private sectors.

The sky is the limit!

The Palouse region is truly exceptional; its rolling hills, patchwork of fields and forests, vibrant small towns, and diverse community create a landscape I'm honored to help preserve for my child and future generations. What excites me most is meeting the people who share this deep love for our land. Learning from our donors, landowners, and partners has been incredibly inspiring these first few weeks.

Right now, I'm focused on immersing myself in conversations and building relationships throughout our community. Looking ahead, I dream of establishing conservation connections in every county we serve, protecting the working farms, forests, and open spaces that make the Palouse so special. I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together.
