Elder Levi Prestwich
Volunteer Land Steward (Service Mission)
Elder Prestwich is from Moscow and has deep local roots in the community. He first became connected to the Palouse Land Trust through his brother, who previously supported the organization by helping install benches as part of an Eagle Scout project. That early family involvement helped introduce him to our preserves and mission.
As part of his service mission with the Palouse Land Trust, Elder Prestwich has become a crucial member of our stewardship efforts. He contributes nearly 20 hours of volunteer service each week, providing steady and dependable support that has significantly strengthened our capacity to care for and maintain our preserves.
His work helps ensure that trails, access points, and public use areas are consistently maintained, supporting safe and welcoming access to nature for the community. Through his dedication and reliability, he plays an important role in keeping our preserves in excellent condition and ensuring they remain accessible for all who visit. If you see him out at Idler’s Rest Preserve or any of our other preserves, be sure to say hi!
