Elder Godfrey
Volunteer Land Steward (Service Mission)
Elder Godfrey lives in Lewiston and came to the Palouse Land Trust with a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in conservation work. Drawn to opportunities that keep him connected to the land, he sought out a way to contribute meaningfully to local stewardship efforts and support the care of protected natural areas.
Since joining our volunteer team, Elder Godfrey has been actively involved in preserve maintenance and stewardship tasks across multiple sites. His work supports the ongoing care of trails, access points, and natural habitats, helping ensure that our preserves remain safe, accessible, and welcoming for visitors throughout the year.
He has quickly become a valued part of the stewardship crew, bringing steady effort and a positive presence to the field. If you see him out at Idler’s Rest Preserve or any of our other preserves, be sure to say hi!
