Bliss Docken
Law intern
Bliss grew up in Puyallup, WA, and moved to Pullman, WA in 2016 to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice at Washington State University, graduating cum laude in 2020. After developing a passion for the Palouse, Bliss and her husband Hans decided to call Pullman their home permanently. Bliss worked as a custodian for the Pullman School District for three years until she found herself interested in learning more about the law. Now, she has a goal of pursuing a career that incorporates her interests in the community, law, and the environment.
Bliss currently attends the University of Idaho College of Law and plans to focus her studies on environmental law. She first heard of the Palouse Land Trust during her Property Law course when the class was studying easements and quickly took up an interest in how conservation easements and the Palouse Land Trust operate to serve the community. She is excited to expand her knowledge in the area and gain real experience and understanding of conservation easements.
Some of Bliss's hobbies include quilting, painting pet portraits, skiing, and horseback riding. She is looking forward to a summer full of learning about conservation easements and anything the Palouse Land Trust will teach her!
