Join Palouse Land Trust as we clean up our adopted 2-mile stretch of Highway 8 near Deary, alongside our newest conservation preserve. This stretch of roadway borders protected habitat and serves as an important entrance into the surrounding landscape. Help us keep it clean, welcoming, and cared for.
Volunteers will help remove litter and debris along the highway corridor while enjoying a morning outdoors with fellow community members.
What to bring:
Closed-toe shoes or sturdy boots
Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
Water bottle
Work gloves if you prefer your own (we will have extras available)
What we provide:
Gloves and trash bags

All necessary cleanup supplies
This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on the health and appearance of a protected landscape. Every bag of trash removed helps keep this special stretch of highway and preserve looking its best.
