Palouse Prairie and Savanna Restoration Project

  • Lone Jack Butte Prairie Restoration 1335 Schneider Road Potlatch, ID, 83855 United States (map)

Join us for a volunteer morning at the beautiful Lone Jack Butte Prairie Restoration helping remove small-flower cranesbill geranium (Geranium pusillum) and other invasive weeds to give native plants more room to thrive. Recent rain should make conditions ideal for pulling weeds.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time outdoors, learn more about local native plants and weeds, and help care for a truly special landscape with incredible views of the surrounding Palouse.

What to Bring

  • Gloves

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • Plenty of water

  • A soil knife, if you have one (extras will be available to borrow)

Snacks will be provided.
