*Why the short year?
At the end of 2016, the board of directors of the land trust opted to change the accounting year from traditional calendar (Jan-Dec), to a fiscal year period (July 1 - June 30). In order to do so, the land trust submitted what is known as a short year tax return covering Jan 1, 2017- June 30, 2017.
