Before joining the Board of Directors in 2012, Roger served as one of the first members of the Palouse Land Trust Advisory Board. He previously worked for 21 years as the Parks & Facilities Manager and City Forester for the City of Moscow and most recently as a Registered Consulting Arborist and Board Certified Master Arborist.
He enjoys working with the Land Trust because "helping landowners preserve their special places is not only personally rewarding, but is a way to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy these preserved properties in perpetuity." He and his wife Alane were married in Vancouver, Washington in 1981. They enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, and travelling.
