Jim has been a supporter of the Land Trust since 1999. He believes strongly in the mission of the Land Trust and in the importance of preserving special places and critical habitats for all to enjoy. Jim has been wanting to become more involved for a few years but an unexpected opportunity to move to Georgia and be closer to their kids took Jim and his wife Lisa out of the area for 3 years. They are home (for good, they hope) and, now retired, have more time to pursue projects he believes are in the best interest of the lands they love for the benefit of future generations.
Jim’s background in natural resources provides expertise in projects involving streams and riparian habitat, and he has experience working with farmers and ranchers on stream restoration projects. Jim also had a successful dentistry practice in Moscow and has volunteered at home and abroad as a youth basketball and soccer coach and 4-H leader in Moscow, and for dental missions overseas in Belize.
