Colin Priebe

president

Colin was born and raised in Pullman, WA. His family has been on the Palouse since the turn of the 20th century and still has working farmland around the Kendrick area. His love for nature has led him to learn about many aspects of the environment include botany, mycology and geography. After high school he left the Palouse to attend Western Washington University and graduated with a degree in Geology.  The Palouse was an environment he overlooked as a child, but after returning to the area in 2013 he found how much he had missed it.

Colin is co-owner in Rolling Hills Bikes in downtown Moscow. He is involved in many local cycling organizations, helping with youth clinics, supporting local races, and building mountain bike trails. Colin joined the Palouse Land Trust in 2018 as a board member and has the goal of preserving open spaces and helping the communities surrounding those spaces. When not working at his shop you can find Colin riding trails with his son Orin, searching for the perfect swimming hole, taking pictures of flowers and hunting for mushrooms in the forests and fields of Latah County and beyond.
